TEXT OF SPEECH
Please know that Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s years of university studies and living amongst African-Americans and Black Britains gave impetus to his vision for Ghana – Africa.
Marcus Mosiah Garvey “Thoughts & Philosophy” and his creation of the Black Star Line in the 1920s influenced Dr. Nkrumah’s vision for Ghana – Africa.
 Also, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah had a profound influence on the African-centred thinking amongst Africans of the diaspora from 1958 to 1966.  I, for one am a product of this Great Man after seeing him on American TV at the UN in 1958.
Europeans have in the past and still are today attempting to De-Africanize the Africans’ Mind, Body, Spirit and Soul. That is to Europeanize the Africans.  However, we Africans must re-discover our African Identity through the process of Re-Africanization of the African Mind, Body, Spirit and Soul.

INTRODUCTION  -
Since Ghana’s independence, 6th March, 1957 from Britain and subsequent other Black African nations that followed throughout the African Continent, achieving the same from France, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands and Italy, breaking the yoke of European Colonial rule; however, in spite of this great fete against the White Colonial Masters; today, America (USA) and European Nations accusations and condemnation continue to mount, accusing Black African peoples of being incapable of nation building and development without European assistance and guidance.   Moreover, today, even the South and East Asian nations who broke the same yoke of European Colonialism and Domination over them, have now become very prosperous and self reliant.  But, many of these nations too are now fomenting the same accusations and condemnation as Americans and Europeans are doing, seeing Black Africans as a hopeless and backward race, and giving African peoples no respect, whatsoever.

 SOLUTION
Please note that a “solution” is predicated, first, upon identifying the “problem”.  Thus, when identifying the problem, you have identified at least 50 per cent of the solution (quote from the late Malcolm X).  Today, Africa’s so-called backwardness must be linked to its Non-African-centred Missionary Educational Institutions, established by European Colonial Missionaries of yesterday.
Briefly, one must know that the bane of Africa’s problems today, must be linked to the 400 years enslavement and miss-education of  Africans yesterday by their European Colonial Masters, who forced their African subjects to be educated under a cryptic Euro-centric Missionary Educational Curriculum and Syllabus.  This cryptic Euro-centric Missionary Educational Curriculum and Syllabus still exist in most African schools up to this very day.  Quintessentially, this educational system was meant to completely De-Africanize the Africans’ mind, spirit, body and soul.  In 1835, according to the American state of Virginia House of Congress and slave owners Proclamation supporting slavery, “the Europeans objective was to render the African slave to the level of a beast in the field.”  In furtherance, it stated: “The objective is to prevent any light from entering the African slave’s mind.”


Thus, to this end, such educative school teachings and religious doctrines were concocted and fabricated, deep inside a white racist platform, with the sole objective of removing the Black race completely out of world civilization and humanity, forever.   Moreover, as a result of the Arab ‘Trans Saharan Slave Trade’ of Africans that preceded the European ‘Trans Atlantic Slave Trade’ of Africans by at least 600 years; the Arabs, too, forcibly instituted a similar concocted version and fabricated Arab-centric educational programme for their African subjects like the Europeans had done.  Also, this system’s sole purpose was to De-Africanize the Africans.  Please know that the era of ‘The Trans Atlantic Slave Trade’ started from the late 1400s and lasted up to the late 1800s, over 400 years.  At the time of this writing in the year 2009, it is fair to say that the European Missionary Educational Curriculum and Syllabus has been the bench mark in educating Black Africans for the past 700 years, with an external focus, skewed towards Europeanization rather than Africanization. 


So, why, today, should African governments and the UN-High Commission for Refugees feel so surprised and shocked about ‘African Intellectual Flight’ from the African Continent to Europe and America? Also, why, should these same institutions feel so shocked about African Youth ‘Walking Across the Sahara Desert’, and braving the dangerous shark infested waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean in wooden canoes, hoping to land somewhere in Western Europe to seek a better life for themselves?  Why is this behaviour so surprising and shocking, in light of knowing the type African mind-set that the European Missionary Educational Curriculum and Syllabus has created over the past 700 years???  Thus, the human brain is like a programmed computer: Garbage programmed in, results in garbage programmed out. It’s as simple as that!


TODAY, CONTEMPORARY EUROPEAN SCHOLORSHIP & JUDAEO-CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS DOCTRINE IS HAUNTED BY PAST MISDEEDS AND LIES CONCOCTED AGAINST THE AFRICAN RACE
The irony of past historical educational misdeeds that European institutions had established against the Black African race, have now come home to haunt today’s contemporary European scholarship and old racist religious doctrines.  Today, that is to say that cadres of Black African academicians as well as European Scientists, Computer Technology and Information Technology (IT), using DNA and Forensic Anthropological Analysis, have confirmed as a scientific fact that the Black African race is the genesis and origin of all humanity on Earth, going back as far as 6.7 million years.  Moreover, today, in just about all Western Nations educational institutions, from primary schools up to the university level, as well as in their print and electronic media telecasts, subscribe to the scientific thesis that all humanity came “Out of Africa”.  


Above all, leading world renown scientists over the past 20 years have published research works attesting to the fact that the Black African woman’s “Mita-chondria DNA” analysis found in her chromosome, has proven her to be the oldest female homo-sapien human, “The Real Eve”, Mother of the Earth, going back 150,000 years ago.  Also, let us not forget that Ancient Egypt (Kemet) is in Africa and was an exclusive Black Kingdom during the Old and Middle Kingdoms; and was the Centre of Learning Before Christian Era; and was the one source that gave birth to European Philosophy, Religion, Math, Science , Astronomy, and overall, European Civilization. 


Yes, today, it is very gratifying to know that while America (USA) and European Nations educational and news media institutions are now teaching and propagating the truth to their people that all humanity comes “Out of Africa”.  However, on the other hand, it is very sad to know that throughout Black Africa, today, the old Colonial European Missionary Educational Curriculum and Syllabus designed for Africans is still being used as the bench mark for quality education.  Needless, to say, for the past 700 years this has been the crux of Black Africa’s problems.  As I have stated herein the foregoing above, the European Missionary Educational Curriculum and Syllabus designed for Africans, was concocted and fabricated deep inside a white racist platform, with the sole objective of removing the Black race completely out of world civilization and humanity, forever.  The De-Africanization of African peoples is tantamount to spiritual murder and genocide.
 
AFRICA’S SOLUTION: PEOPLE EMPOWERMENT THROUGH AFRICAN-CENTRED EDUCATIONAL FORUMS
Historically, People Empowerment has been the foundational base of Sustainable Nation Building and Self Reliance.  However, People Empowerment can never ever happen, unless, establishing educational institutions that are built around the very people to be empowered.  The targeted “People” must be at the very Centre of these institutions.  In Africa’s case: There must be an African-centred Educational Curriculum and Syllabus created by African scholarship, established in all educational institutions, starting from Kindergarten up to the University level.  The scholarship of this African-centred Educational Curriculum and Syllabus must be based strictly on scientific research and facts.  According to the science of Palaeo-anthropology, the African must be placed at the Genesis of Humanity, beginning on the African Continent.
